Dr Nik Aloesnita Nik Mohd Alwi

Nik Aloesnita Nik Mohd Alwi is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah. Apart from teaching English language and communication courses, she also teaches and supervises postgraduates majoring in Applied Linguistics and TESL/TESOL/TEFL. Her research interests are mainly in the area of second language acquisition (SLA), task-based language learning and teaching (TBLT), and technology-enhanced language learning (TELL). Nik has developed language related curriculum and training modules for use at the university and industry. She is currently the Dean of the Centre for Modern Languages UMPSA. Additionally, she contributes to Malaysian Qualifications Agency as one of the accreditation committee members.
